"Ancient Glory" - The Temple of Apaia, built about 490 BC, still standing proud on top of a hill at Aegina island, as the centuries pass by. The three Temples, Temple of Poseidon at Sounio and the Acropolis of Athens, form an isosceles triangle (the sacred triangle of antiquity).

"On the path of light" - The golden colors of a beautiful Greek sunset always make my mind travel… Almost like this boat travels, while the sun embraces it with a path of light.

"Reflections on the rough sea" - As the sun was setting and the night was coming, some beautiful reflections made the whole scenery almost magic. Its wonderful how sea can change from being so calm, blue and beautiful to wild, black and angry in just a few minutes. Moody as woman. And beautiful as woman too.

"Take me to the sun" - I just feel that the clouds, the rocks, the sea, everything, point me to this wonderful sun that sets behind the horizon.

"Moonrising" - Drinking a cocktail in a quite bar above the peaceful port of Souvala ... and suddenly the moon appears behind the mountains. In such moments I am just glad to have a camera with me.

Above you see the gallery with beautiful pictures taken by Spiros K. (alias konspir). As far back as he can remember Spiros has spent all his summers, staying in his family house in the village of Vagia on Aegina. He always enjoyed his time on this little island.
"Aegina is special, mostly because of memories. You know how it is to have so many memories from a place: friends, family, relationships & fun... I have some of my best memories from there. I can't imagine myself not visiting Aegina for summer. Even now, that friends don't exist anymore... Memories exist and every single place in this island has a memory for me.
Besides, it's a beautiful, peaceful island, very close to Athens and its very easy to escape to".

Most of the above pictures were taken with a Nikon D700 and (primarily) with Nikkor 24-120mm f/4 and Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8 lenses except the "Moonrising" photo which was shot with a Panasonic FZ-30 in the village of Souvala in 2008.
