The Apollo hotel is located on one of the most beautiful spots on Aegina island. The hotel is right at the sea front and is surrounded by a lovely pine forest that is bordering with the classical temple of Athena Aphaia at the top of the hill. The hotel has 107 rooms, most of them with seaview. In front of the hotel, on hotel level, you will find a big swimming pool with sunbeds. Next to the pool, there are various shaded sun bathing areas with sunbeds built on the rocks towards the sea. The hotel was designed by a well known Greek architect, Nikos Valsamakis, in the70's, in a "modern Greek style" and its furnishings comply with the requirements of this style.

The rooms
The rooms located at the front side of the hotel (most of the rooms) offer splendid sea view. The rooms at the back side have a view towards the garden and the green pine forest surrounding the hotel. It is possible to enjoy your breakfast or meal in your own private space on your balcony. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, TV, hair dryer and an internet connection. The rooms are cleaned twice daily and the room maids will be glad to wash and/or iron your clothes.

Spacious recreation areas
The hotel guests can relax in the quiet surroundings of the hotel. There are spacious air conditioned lounge areas inside the hotel and you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch and or dinner either in the inside or outside dining area. The views from all terraces and dining areas are fantastic! You will find the Hotel bar close to the swimming pool serving coffee, refreshments, cocktails and sandwiches and home made sweets from morning till late at night,

The Apollo Restaurant
The restaurant offers a cuisine with Greek and Mediterranean home made flavours made of the best ingredients. 80% of the products used in the kitchen are local fresh products.

Eco friendly
The hotel has an eco-friendly policy: they use solar energy for the heating of water, they use biodegradable detergents, low energy bulbs, they don't use pesticides, have their our own bio-sewage plant which provides the water for watering the gardens of the resort. The hotel owns and protects a section of the pine-tree forest of Agia Marina.

Excursions
The reception staff can provide you with all information regarding exploring the island. They can assist you with renting cars and motorbikes, they can provide you with bus and ferry tickets and assist you with suggestions for excursions and information about local events.
