In this edition of the aeginagreece.com newsletter we update you again with the latest on Aegina island. Aegina is gaining populairity, especially young Athenians have chosen Aegina as their holiday or weekend destination. New beach bars have opened, where DJ's are playing during the weekends. Beach parties are planned for the summer period and you can still join the Souvala photo contest and your picture may be in their big exhibition on 4 & 5 August!

If you take the road to Perdika, pass the petrol station and turn left after a large pink building, follow the dirt road which will end at Sarpa Beach. This summer, Sarpa beach has been totally renewed, cleaned and upgraded. Sarpa is a little paradise with crystal clear water, tropical umbrellas, a relaxed atmosphere, a volleyball area and a small cantine where drinks and food are served. Pleasant music.

A new beach bar has opened on Klima beach (some call it Klidi). The place to be seen for summer 2007 and especially popular with the Athenians. During the week, lounge music and during weekends loud Greek music with dancing on the beach and bar. DJ's from Athens will be playing at Klima beach in the coming weekends. Klima is a popular bay for yachts. Klima can be reached through the road to Perdika, turn left at first cross road before you reach the village of Perdika, turn right (after 500 metres) when you see a sign Klima beach, continue this road and turn one more time left at the end.

NEW this year, are the beat sessions at the Beach Bar at Moni island. Tomorrow, sunday 15 July, DJ Constantin will be playing there during the day. Moni island can be reached by taking one of the little boats that travel between the port of Perdika and Moni island. More information about Moni island you can find here. Akrogiali at the Aghia Marina Beach is organising a beach party on friday 27 July. Ellinikon Seaside is celebrating its 15 year anniversary with a big beach party at Aqua Loca beach, 6 August.
