Halfway on the road from Aegina town to Perdika you will find the village of Marathonas.

Most of the houses in Marathonas are built upon the mountain from where you have an amazing view over the sea. The village, although it has a big church, doesn't really have a centre.


Marathonas has two perfect beaches where you can rent sunbeds with umbrellas. On the first beach you will find also some nice tavernas which serve traditional greek food. Enjoy your breakfast, lunch or diner on the beach!
