John is a professional musician and teaches classical guitar, rock guitar, classical piano, keyboards. He recorded several albums with a progressive rock band called BODY. He will be in Aegina from 27th July - 24th August, and will be available for classical guitar tuition or musical engagements.
John has been coming to Aegina on a regular basis since 1988, when he fell in love with this beautiful island. He has been a professional musician since 1975, and has had a reasonably successful career in the classical and rock field. He played the progressive rock band called "BODY" from 1977- 1982, and
1987- 2004, and just recently started working with them on their 5th cd. The vinyl album got to Number 07 in the lp charts in 1981, and the band has sold about 15000 products and toured all over Europe. They have toured with MOTORHEAD, HAWKWIND AND OMD.
John performed in the Aegina music festival with Alan Massie (a flautist from Athens) a couple of times in 2008, and has performed on the clasical guitair at the Faros Hotel in 1988.
At the moment he's teaching classical guitar, rock guitar, classical piano, keyboards, and composition to a high standard. He also plays flamenco next to classical piano (to a reasonable standard as well) and has as well done concerts in Spain many years ago.
He's a hard working musician and will accept any music work or any type of work.
