Welcome to the only truly traditional taverna in Souvala and have a taste of Greece! Delicious food prepared by our dear cook Giánnaros who has 40 years of experience. You are even welcome to come inside and make your choice in the kitchen. We have nothing to hide except our recipe!

Try our barbecued lamb, pork and chicken or order the same from the spit. Mousaka is our specialty and Kokoretsi - traditionally only eaten at Easter - is on our menu every day of the year. Treat yourself to Kleftiko (an tasty oven dish) or Stifado (a delightful stew).

We have a beautiful view of the port. Fishing boats come in 30 meters from our taverna so - naturally - fish and seafood also appear on our menu. Our wines taste exceptionally good from dawn to dusk!

It's also possible to have your own private party (birthday, baptism, wedding etc) at Giannarios. We can host up to 200 people outside and 50 people inside. If you would like traditional Greek live music at your party? No problem, we will arrange it!! We also can help you with finding the right accommodation.
