Aiakeion, established in 1958, is the oldest confectionary on the island. It is situated in the middle of the waterfront and has an excellent view of the harbour.

Mrs. Dolly the founder of Aiakeion is still there, ready to offer a warm welcome to her clients. The long history of Aiakeion is reflected in its receipies that follow old traditions and are made with quality local ingredients, in its own factory.

If you wish to experience the local delicacies make sure you try "fystikata" & "fystikini" (both made of pistachio nuts) and "amygdolato" & "baclavadaki" (both made of almonds). The big variety of both savoury and sweet dishes, as well as amazing icecreams and other specialities will delight your palet.

If you want to relax with a drink, or have a light and of extraordinary quality dinner, come and visit the terrace, with its incredible view, centred over the harbour and enjoy filet steak, pasta dishes, sushi, smoked salmon, special salads, etc - cooked or made to order - It is open from 8.00 pm to 2.30 am.
