It's not difficult to find a nice place to swim on Aegina; there
are various organised beaches with sunbeds and umbrellas, beach
games and beach bars. There are deserted beaches where you can swim
in the crystal clear water and dream away in the distance. Or settle
yourself on the rocks and discover the underwater world with your
mask and snorkel. Because of the mild climate on Aegina the water
temperature allows you to swim about 8 months of the year. The organised
beaches are open from the beginning of June until about the end of
September.

The
biggest organised sandy beach on the island with shallow water.
You can hire sunbeds with umbrellas, paddle boats
and canoes or play volley in the water! There are various places
on the beach where you can drink your Greek coffee, eat delicious
food or listen to great music. This beach is ideal for families
with kids. |

sandy beach located in the beautiful large bay of Aiginitissa,
surrounded by huge trees, on the road to the village of Perdika.
Sunbeds & umbrellas, beach volley area and nice trendy lounge bar
with DJ during summer months. Popular bay for yachts and the place
to be for young people during the summer holidays. |

located in Aegina town on the left side of the Hill of Kolona,
at a walking distance from the ferries. You can find a sandy beach
with chairs and umbrellas and a lot of greek tavernas nearby. |

will find this organised beach (municipality beach) with sunbeds & umbrella's
on the road between Faros - Marathonas. They have a nice covered
terrace and beach bar where you can sit nicely in the shade. Aqua
Loca is serving drinks as well as salads and small plates. The
beach bar is open until late. |

beach on the north side of the island, on the beginning of the road to Souvala, next to Prosinemo beach. You will see the sign on side of the road, where you can park your car or motorbike. Popular bay for yachts. The last years this beach was an organised beach with beds and beach bar. Summer 2009 - this beach is not organised! Beautiful spot to relax and enjoy. |

located right on the beach who are serving Greek food. Enjoy the great sunset

the Panagitsa church on the boulevard of Aegina town, you will
find the Panagitsa beach. Babis taverna, located on that beach,
is renting out beds and umbrella's. Babis' is open from 9 in
the morning until late at night. A great spot to have your
breakfast, lunch or romantic diner! |

Prosinemo
beach is situated on the north side of the island on the road
to Souvala. On the beach there are some trees where you can
find shade or you can lay yourself down on the sunbeds
with umbrella's. On the beach is a special kids area and a
small cantina..

Pass
the petrol
station in Perdika, turn left after the pink building on your
left and follow the the dirt road hat will finally get you
to the beach. Beautiful sandy beach in a bay with green
water. Beach with sunbeds, umbrellas and a little cantina serving
drinks and food. Nice subtle music. Beach

In
the harbour you will find a small beach, but if you drive a
little bit out of the harbour you will find a sandy beach (The
loutra) with sunbeds, umbrellas & the new beach bar Banio Banio.
The coastline of Souvala has many other spots where you can
sunbath and swim from the rocks. |

on the northern part of the island, located between Souvala
and Aghia Marina. Nice organised beach with sunbeds and umbrella's,
next to a picturesque little harbour. On the beach you will
find some taverna's. Vagia is the perfect place if you want
to relax and enjoy some good food! |
